The Whale – a New Film Narrated by Ryan Reynolds

There’s a new Ryan Reynolds film set to be released that won’t see him as a superhero or comedy sidekick. In fact, you won’t see him in the film at all – you’ll only hear him. Reynolds has lent his voice to narrate ‘The Whale’.

‘The Whale’ is a documentary about Luna, a killer whale (or orca) living off the coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. Luna has been separated from his family and has sought the attention of humans. The documentary explains that orcas are very social animals who can live as long as humans. Since Luna has no other killer whales to congregate with, he would swim up to boats of locals and tourists, seeking attention.
